Welcome to my little corner in the world for selling my hand spun and/or hand dyed yarns and fiber along with various other hand made items and crafting supplies.
I’m a Fibre Artist who is passionate about hand spinning and dyeing, weaving, knitting and crochet. I love experimenting with different techniques and other crafts as well.
I work with mostly animal and plant fibres by hand spinning them to create yarn for knitting, crocheting or weaving.
This may include using commercially prepared and dyed fibre for my spinning or I will start from scratch, washing, preparing and dyeing the fibre myself before I spin it. I also enjoy hand dyeing my hand spun yarn and commercial yarn.
I love the uniqueness that you get from hand dyeing and all the amazing colours you can create from the different types of dyes (natural and commercial) and techniques you can use. I only dye limited quantities of yarn and fibre as I’m not into mass production. A lot of my yarns don’t have names just numbers, as I’m not that good with selecting names. But I have now found a use for AI and with its help I am slowly adding names to my colours. Where possible I like to use Australian supplies but sometimes it’s not possible due to price and/or quality.
