The Aussie Crafting Corner Knitting Cord Set contains:
· 3 Red Small Silicon Cords (1 x 150cm & 2 x 75cm)
· 3 Purple Large Silicon Cords (1 x 150cm & 2 x 75cm)
· 4 Knitting Needle Stoppers
· 10 Stitch Markers (2 Bee lobster catch and 8 Metal Opening)
All in a handy metal, screw top lid.
Knitting Cords are used for:
· Placing stitches on hold while waiting to complete sleeves etc
· Holding stitches for provisional cast on
· Lengthening your cable and securing your stitches when trying on a garment
To Use: Press firmly one end the cord onto the tip of your needle and slide the stitches to be placed on hold onto the cord. Remove your needle and tie the ends of the cord to secure. To place your stitches back onto your needles simply untie your cord, firmly attach it to the tip of your needle and slide your stitches back onto your cable then remove the cord from your needle. This kit has large and small cords. The Purple Small Cords are suitable for needle sizes up to 6mm. The Red Large Cords are for needle sizes 6.5mm and over.
Knitting Needle Stoppers: These silicon stoppers grip your needles and stop your stitches from coming off the needle when you are not working on your project. Suitable for knitting needles up to 8mm / US 11 needle
Stitch Markers: Opening metal stitch markers suitable for knitting needles up to 8mm/US
